I never thought I’d have to make a post like this, but life changed very suddenly for my family. One of my humans passed away, and my other human — who loves me very much — can no longer care for me. None of this is my fault, and I’ve been trying so hard to be brave… but I really need a new place to call home.
I’m a sweet 9‑year‑old boy who loves gentle pets, cozy naps, and being near my people. I’m friendly, loving, and just want a calm, caring home where I can feel safe again. I would do best in a dog‑free home, somewhere peaceful where I can relax and settle in.
I’m coming with all the things that make me feel comfortable — my litter box, my favorite toys, scratching surfaces, treats, bowls, and some food. I hope that helps make my transition easier.
I’ve lived in a home where people smoked, so my new family should know that. And my vaccination history isn’t known, so I’ll need a wellness visit with a veterinarian to make sure I’m up to date and healthy. I might also need my teeth checked, just to be sure everything is okay.
I’ve been through a lot of change, and I’m trying my best to stay hopeful. I really, truly deserve a family who will give me the love, patience, and comfort I’ve always known.
